Reform the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)
The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is not led by scientists, hunters, anglers, or conservationists of any kind.
Real estate developers and commercial interests have taken over the Commission and are destroying Wild Florida.

“Managing fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people”
The mission statement of the FWC doesn’t reflect the reality of the organization — a strategic sell out of our remaining ecosystems to commercial developers.

It’s called regulatory capture — and it’s happening right here in Florida.
Rich developers and real estate companies have taken hold of the FWC and are bleeding our state dry. But this isn’t an insurmountable issue. We can combat this corruption and still preserve what’s left of Wild Florida.

Who are the FWC Commissioners?
The seven FWC Commissioners, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Florida Senate, are selling our state out to commercial development.
How can we reform the FWC?
We’re proposing an Amendment to the Florida State Constitution to revise appointments to the FWC.
